Starting Lineup

thrax is your classic nintendo fanboy. Like all fanboys he has a stupid amount of consoles and games collecting dust because of reasons. He has a shrine decicated to his hero, Link, that is kept locked away in a private crypt behind 8 layers of kryptonite infused steel… and still continually needs vacuuming. Nontheless he is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to everything retro and is always making ground breaking jokes that no one (i.e. Loz) gets.

Favourites: Super NES | RPG | Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past | Link

Orginally from the UK Loz has played through most of the LucasArts collection and often totes a half-mongrel for Star Wars games, movies, comics, merchandise, and male actors. Generally an all-rounder in the world of gaming journalism, he hates people who try and cry thier way through crowd-funding campaigns. He’s a lover of heavy metal and has a particularly keen sense for missing the obvious humour in situations.

Favourites: PS2 | FPS | Half-Life | Jim Raynor

SkyTamer is a game producer, environment artist and a knowledgeable member of the Australian games industry. When she isn’t working on the next awesome game project, she’s playing her favourite 3D platformers and collecting everything PlayStation. She is also an advocate for the PlayStation Vita market and has a ‘slight’ obsession with birds.

Favourites: PS Vita | Platformer/Adventure | Ratchet & Clank | Daxter

Bench Warmers

Jason is a generic gamer dude. A real console jock. What he lacks in knowledge he makes up for in enthusiasm. Something he values in games is freedom, so open world or sandbox games are his #fave. GTA V, Fallout 4 and Minecraft are his first 3 choices. The future of large production games is something to get passionate about. The time is nigh. Get yo bibles ready.

Favourites: XBone | Sandbox | Minecraft | Lone Wanderer (Fallout 4)

Showus has dedicated her life to schooling 12 year olds at Counter-Strike and taking misogynistic abuse over the internet. She is a keen follower of E-Sports and is training hard to one day represent the great land of Australia in the international SIMS tournament that doesn’t (yet) exist. If you’ve got a question about internet based gaming or pushing voice comms through some sort of string and a tin can apparatus, she’s your gal!

Favourites: N64 | Survival/Strategy | Counter-Strike / The Sims | Yoshi
